Pecan gathering

Today, for the first time in my life, I gathered pecans. The neighbors next door to the church have several huge pecan trees which have several limbs that hang over our fence. *BIG grin! Some blow our way and others drop on our side. Since I didn't know what to look for when gathering pecans, I gathered a whole bag full......of rotten ones! Haha. I quickly learned the right color to look for next time. I did manage to get almost a sandwich-sized bag full of them. The trees are LOADED and there are a bunch just laying in their yard. I think I am going to go over and to meet my neighbors soon! :)
