Surprise Visit with Friends

Before school started in August, I made one last summer trek over the hills and through the woods to Grandmother's house we went.  While we were visiting there, I made contact with a dear friend and discovered that she was only about an hour away.  We had not seen each other in months so we made plans to meet up and we decided to not tell the kiddos and to surprise them all. 
My kiddos were really questioning my little outing but when we got there, they soon discovered why.  The were so glad to see their little buddies and as you can tell Mr. J was trying to be the big guy, Miss A was just a "wee" bit excited, and Mr. B hung back in all the pictures.
They were so glad that they got to see their friends and really enjoyed their surprise.  Of course, the Mommies did too.  We had quite a bit of catching up and sharing to do but like good friends, we always pick up right where we left off.  Her poor husband finally had to retire to the vehicle and leave it with us gals.  lol  Thanks for your sacrifice kind sir!  :-)
